The National Museum of Contemporary Art organize in collaboration with Graphic Design Museum, Breda, The Netherlands between 23.01 and 3.10.2010 –“Publish It”– a special program for children in the age between 8 and 14 years old.
‘Publish It' is an attractive learning environment in which the basic principles and functionality of graphic design are explained by understandable examples in combination with active (group) activities.
Children discover exactly what graphic design is. Why are objects around us designed? What can letters and colours tell us? Why is a carton of milk blue and not purple? What do the different types of letters on a film poster say?
