The Temporary Department of Time and Space is a workshop organised at the VAV department, Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam. But The Temporary Department of Time and Space is more than a workshop, like the name says, it is a department and as such it operates with an open ended structure. The members will, and have already started to, together define what the department will be – what structure it will have, what role it will play in the world of its members as well as in the world at large. During the week of 8-14 April The Temporary Department of Time and Space will operate as a guest at the W139.
