Accidents and Misadventures happen to everyone. Some are little annoyances, some are deadly. Some are serendipitous and have an advantageous outcome, others just piss you off; and they all have to be fixed, repaired, swept, mopped or seen to in some way. They signal a loss of control and throw our lives off balance. Dripped, Dropped, Spilt, Upended, Exploded, explores how some artists have responded to these types of events. Working in a variety of mediums; drawing, video, photography, and sculpture, the artists here provide a response to upheavals big and small.
