From October through November, TARO NASU gallery presents unreleased works by Ryuji Miyamoto.
It can quite easily be said that not a single day passes without the work of the artist Ryuji Miyamoto being on display somewhere in the world. He is the epitome of the busy international artist, and in the last half of this year alone his works have been exhibited in the メBerlin-Tokyo / Tokyo-Berlinモ held at Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin, in Benesse Art Site Naoshimaユs メThe Standardモ, and as a part of the permanent exhibition of a respected contemporary art museum in Frankfurt to name but a few.

メforgottenモ is a solo exhibition by Miyamoto that introduces previously unreleased works from his early years, works that the artist himself had totally forgotten about up until now.

メThese are photographs that I had forgotten making, literally images I had forgotten to develop or print. Photography is a contrivance to memorize, but there are many pictures that I forgot about after shooting them. Now, finally, I have printed these images that I had left neglected for so long.モ

All prints are black and white 8x10s and were produced prior to the publication of Miyamotoユs Architectural Apocalypse.
