Die Suppe ist gegessen VI
23 August - 1 September 2013

The Czech artist Kateřina Šeda was the 2011 Follow-Fluxus scholarship holder of Wiesbaden and the Nassauische Kunstverein Wiesbaden. During her stay, she developed the multipart project "Die Suppe ist gegessen" (The soup is eaten). From summer 2011 to 2012 "Die Suppe ist gegessen" consisted of five interlocking exhibitions as well as an action in March 2012 with 26 cooks and chefs from Wiesbaden in the Czech town of Nošovice.

There the chefs familiarised themselves with Czech main courses which were then reinterpreted and arranged in Wiesbaden. The arrangement on the plates resembled the "hole" in the centre of Nošovice, where a car factory was built in 2007 and since then divides the village into two halves.

Kateřina Šeda gave the Wiesbaden main courses to architects and town planners, who processed them in to architectural models as future prospects for the "Time after Hyundai".

The Nassauische Kunstverein presents with "Die Suppe ist gegessen, part VI" the last stage of the project. Also a cookbook with the architectural recipes will be published.
