IN HER WORK, SHE OFTEN USES TE...

In her work, she often uses techniques and themes of folk art, whose originally applied harmlessness she turns upside down. The spectator gets immediately sucked into familiar looking images of the partially large-scale wood saw works, her silhouette animations and silkscreen prints, where he comes face to face with facets of the emotional world of Humans, between love and death.
Britta Jonas exhibitions are part of an intimate way of storytelling, built up like an imaginary museum, in which the single works refer to each other regarding their themes and contents.
