The comprehensive Olafur Eliasson show at ARoS was mounted as a total installation project, a unified whole that ambushes and activates the entire sensory spectrum.Olafur Eliasson - Minding the World involves and corrals the visiting public. With the four elements as a keynote, the museum’s visitors were taken on a trajectory into a peerless realm of diverse experiences. Through simple yet spectacular interventions, Olafur Eliasson created an experientially rich, total installation which through ceiling mirrors, light installations and spacious pavilions taps into and activates a variety of sensory registers. The exhibition ramifies across a number of spaces in the new museum building, whose architecture Olafur Eliasson, with his unerring sense for experiential diversity, exploits through a range of interventions and spatial sequences.
