ARoS now have the pleasure to open the gallery on level 8 with a new display of the collection under the title “From Abildgaard to Kirkeby”. The ambition has been throughout 1000 square metres to tell the story of the development of danish art through 200 years – starting in the late 1700s with N. A. Abildgaard and ending with Per Kirkeby and his great work Nach der Abnahme from 1988.
