NATURALLY DIS-CONTINUOUS 2007

“The work approaches the issue of completing the self. There is an innate human need for fulfillment, aided by contact with Nature. At the very instance that a human being achieves union with her own existence, that union has to be defined anew. This creates a sequence of deconstructive and reconstructive states, with completeness as its aim.
Two states are alternating in never-ending movement. At one instance Nature’s image helps achieving human’s union with her existence. All is in balance. But such unison is precarious. At another instance, magnetic interference deconstructs the projected image, resulting in tension. This tension is felt by a sharp sound and vibration, produced by induction due to electromagnets placed at the two parts of the bed.”
